Biometric Consent & Disclosure

Because a voice is not ordinary data.

A voice is part of a person — their presence, not just their information. Preserving one is a meaningful act of trust, and the law rightly treats voice as sensitive biometric data.

The Biometric Consent & Disclosure is how we make that trust explicit. Before we ever use a voice recording to create an Echo, we explain plainly what we are asking for, obtain clear consent, and record that consent so it can be honored — or withdrawn — at any time. This document exists so that nothing about how a voice is handled is hidden or assumed.
